I work in two places, one of them is about Education trought the use of Internet and new Communication tools. The school is named "Prepa Virtual", which is a school which offers the high school level in the modality of Virtual education. This is the link to it:
So, I work in two different educational contexts.
This week I have been in a "course", that is about the thing of teaching using the new technologies in the world, and how places and countries like South Africa (which many people may thing about that country as non important) are taking advantage of it.
But, what's the deal with it?
I knew many new things about this topic, and I'm starting to use the "TIC'S" for my own english classes. For example, I'm asking to my students to get an e-mail. But my surprise was that they didn't know how to get one of that things!!
So, I guess it would become quit a challenge for them (to get it and know how to use it) and for me, to teach them more things, in this case about the Internet tools.
Well, that's all for the moment, right now my students are trying to get their e-mails, most of them are trying, but others are not very interesting on it.
In the next publication I will talk about of how my students are doing it.
